I’ve been getting really antsy about doing some actual wedding planning. But, honestly I’m not sure how we are going to swing it right now. We want to get married September 2011, but I don’t see how we will be able to afford it by then. Who knows, that is still our potential date and I cannot wait to start wedding dress shopping. I’ve been looking all over the internet and I wanted to share some of my favorites. Obviously I have no idea what dress I will be getting, but these are just ones that I really like and keep going back to. I want something simple, but elegant.

I was originally against a strapless dress because I don’t really have ‘much’ to hold it up, but there are so many beautiful strapless dresses out there I don’t want to kick them out of the running until I try some on.

Much to my dismay, I cannot seem to obtain the actual picture of the other two dresses. They won’t let me save it, copy it or anything, so I will just have to simply share the links.

  1. Hi Steph–I love the first one and the Caleigha–both are beautiful and I think would really flatter you. I have been to a bunch of weddings where the bride spends the whole time pulling up her strapless gown. I’m not sure if it’s bad fit or bad design or what. I love dresses with a little cap sleeve..I’ve seen some where the cap is sheer–very pretty.

    • That’s a good point with the strapless dresses. I am SURE I would be pulling it up the whole time! I think I will go with my initial feeling and stay away from them. Yeah the first one is my favorite, I keep going back to it and thinking about how much I love it!

  2. i like the first one the most, too!

  3. oh, stepharoni, also, if you do your own invitations and etc, it’s a lot cheaper! i’ve been brushing up on my illustrator/photoshop skills, i’d love to help you! i know some online places where you can get bulk envelopes/blank cards for cheap, too! =) there’s also these two blogs i go to every now and then and they have some nice wedding inspirations: http://www.inspiredbride.net/ and http://www.nonpareilmag.com/

    • Kelly, that sounds great! I wasn’t sure if I was going to make my own invitations or not, but I know how good you are with crafts like that so I would love to do it!
