Hood To Coast: Runner #3!

Nuun announced our legs for Hood To Coast on Tuesday and I am so happy to report that I got my first choice! I am runner #3 in Van 1 and I will be running Legs 3, 15, and 27.

It feels so real now! It’s getting closer and closer and I am unbelievably excited!!!

Here is a more detailed look at the legs I have to run.

I love that I have a variety of levels, an easy, a moderate, and a hard. There are also legs marked as Very Hard, but I’m okay with missing out on one of those. Look at that decline in my first leg! Should be a fast one.

I’m sure you’ve read about the teams on other blogs, but in case you didn’t, they’ve split us up into 3 teams; Team Morning, Team Noon, and Team Night.

I am on Team Morning with these lovely ladies:

Corey – Schnoodles of Fun: Legs 2, 14, 26

Stephanie – Epicurious Runner: Legs 3, 15, 27

Jess – Blonde Ponytail: Legs 4, 16, 28

Caitlin – Nuun Employee: Legs 5, 17, 29

Ricole Runs – Ricole Runs: Legs 6, 18, 30

Van 2

Erin – Nuun Employee: Legs 7, 19, 31

Elizabeth – Running For Bling: Legs 8, 20, 32

Dorothy – Mile Posts: Legs 9, 21, 33

Amanda – Runninghood: Legs 10, 22, 34

Jennifer – The Fit Fork: Legs 11, 23, 35

XLMIC – Taking It On: Legs 12, 24, 36

I was trying to find some more information on my legs, but I can’t seem to find anyone with a blog that ran the same legs I am running. I think they were run by Nuun employees last year. I did read about the legs surrounding mine and it sounds like my second leg, Leg 15 will be a night run, which I am stoked about! I know it’s all dependent upon everyone’s pace, but I do hope I get to experience a night run, that would be pretty cool.

Less than 60 days to go!!!
