I would like to get back into running and blogging regularly! So, today is the start of that. It’s National Running Day and I feel like I am finally on my way to feeling like myself again. My blood work came back with all good results, which was surprising, but also great news, I’m glad nothing is physically wrong with me.
I haven’t run in 2 weeks, partly due to being busy, but also because I just didn’t want to. It’s time to get back at it though, I have less than a month until real training starts and I don’t want to sabotage myself.
Our 5k group 🙂
I’m running the Al Goldstein 5K tonight in Prospect Park, which is a great way to celebrate Nat’l Running Day and my return to running. Can’t wait to see those ladies!
I feel like I’m returning from the dead. I’ve seriously been in a funk for the past 4 months and I feel like I’m finally starting to inch my way out.
My best friends, Nick and Em, got married this past weekend and it was absolutely amazing. I love these two more than ever and I was so honored to be included in their wedding. I think being around almost all of my friends this weekend was just what I needed. My heart was filled with love and it was great to see and hang out with everyone in one place. Plus, I made a lot of new friends and got to meet Nick and Em’s amazing families.
1 wedding down!
2 bachelorette parties, 1 wedding shower, and 1 more wedding to go for the month of June. Wish me luck!
