My New Job and Some Yummy Thai Food

So, I haven’t written about my new job yet, but I am really glad to say that it is going well and I do like it. The job itself is pretty easy, but I like the company and I love the people I work with. I am a transcriber, which is basically typing word for word what is being said in a video clip. It’s definitely a full time job for a few months, but I guess after that I have a chance of being let go because there won’t be as much work. I’m really hoping to be able to stay and possibly move up. Who knows though, whatever happens is meant to be and I still don’t even know what exactly I want to do with my life! Anyway, it’s going well and I got my first paycheck, woo hoo!

Today I went out to lunch with this girl Jaime that I work with and we got some really good Thai food. We went to this place called Cafe Tasia and they had amazing lunch specials going on. For $8 you pick an appetizer and a main dish and there is a pretty good variety to choose from. I got the Oriental Salad with Peanut Sauce for my appetizer and the Green Curry with Tofu as my dish. Unfortunately I was way too hungry and forgot to take a picture of my Curry, but I guarantee you it tasted amazing and it looked just as good.

This was my salad and the picture below was Jaime’s salad, which was and Edamame Wasabi Salad. The food was great, especially because it only cost 8 bucks! I will be back.

I went to my very first yoga class last night because there is a studio in the same building that I work in. I tried not to think about it too much because I was a little nervous, but I decided just to do it and get it over with. It went well, I had to look at a few other people to figure out what they were doing, but I think I did a pretty good job. The teacher spoke pretty quickly so she was a little hard to understand at times, but I felt pretty relaxed and really got into it. For $10 I get a week of unlimited yoga because it was my first time there. I am hoping to go back on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to really get my money’s worth. It was good and I’m so happy to have finally tried a REAL yoga class!

Going to bed real soon, I am getting up real early tomorrow to run 12 miles!
