I Love The Sun!

This is going to be a quick post because it’s late, but I had a great day today with a minor bad mood spell in the evening. But, lets start from the beginning. I woke up and did a quick 3 mile run that felt really great and refreshing. It was beautiful outside and I wished I had more time to keep running.

  • Distance: 3.1 Miles
  • Duration: 27:42
  • Pace: 8:56

I went to work wishing I could just spend all day outside in the amazing weather. For lunch I joined some co-workers for some delicious Thai food from a restaurant called Qi. It’s in Union Square and it had amazing lunch specials. I always get the same thing though, I can’t help it. I’m obsessed with Red Curry, it’s alway soo good. The bamboo shoots are my favorite.

This was a mushroom spring roll that was amazing. The lunch special included an appetizer and an entree for only $6.90! It was a great deal. My entree was of course Red Curry. I love when the bamboo shoots are nice and thick, but unfortunately these were very thin, which wasn’t bad, but I just can’t seem to find a good restaurant that serves the thick bamboo shoots.

Sorry the pictures aren’t so great, I only had my phone.

On our way back to work we of course had to stop for some ice cream. I had a milky way soft serve with rainbow and chocolate sprinkles. It was delicious and it made me just want to lay down outside and absorb all the sun into my skin! I love the sun and I am SOO HAPPY that Spring is finally here!

After work,  I had a conference call schedule with the people from my internship and that went well, it was nice and short, which made me happy because I had a busy night ahead of me. After the conference call, I quickly made a grilled peanut butter and banana sandwich with honey. Mmmm, it was so good, I had to stuff it down real fast because I needed to leave, but I still enjoyed it as much as I could.

With some Aged Cheddar Pirates Booty, which I am all of a sudden obsessed with. It’s like healthy cheetos, except way better!

I went to do a makeup test for this play that I am working on in a few weeks. It’s pretty basic makeup, just bruises and scratches, but I am really looking forward to it. I wasn’t sure if I was because before I left to go back into Manhattan I was in a really bad mood. I was feeling really overwhelmed and busy and just did not want to do anything. So I was in a bad mood when I left the house, but when I met up with everyone my mood easily changed and I felt happy and motivated once again. It’s a crazy play that I will have to explain later.

For now…2 more days until the NYC Half Marathon! Yay! It’s going to be awesome and so isn’t he weather!

Goodnight.
