Nuun’s Hood To Coast Relay Team Application

Today is the deadline to enter the Nuun’s Hood To Coast relay team.

I have no idea what my chances are, but I like to stay positive and think that I will make it! I am so glad I entered! I learned about last year’s relay through a few different blogs I read and I have been keeping my eye out, so I wouldn’t miss it this year.

I was struggling for ideas at first, but eventually came up with this with the assistance of my husband. If you haven’t seen Wet Hot American Summer, go watch it NOW! Seriously. It’s nothing short of hilarious.

I knew I would regret not applying to this. It’s an amazing opportunity and looks like a crazy amount of fun. I’ve also been wanting to run a relay for the last 2 years and just the fact that Hood To Coast could be my first one, is amazing!

Wish me luck!

Marathon Runners Are Crazy

I saw this video this morning on Carrots N Cake and I just had to share it. It made me chuckle quite a bit this morning at work.

Enjoy!

PS. It’s 1:28am and I just got home. I did the show tonight and had 2 cocktails afterward. I had to take the ‘N’ train home because the ‘R’ does not run after midnight. Normally the ‘N’ will drop me off 15 blocks from my apartment, which would normally take me 10 – 15 minutes to walk, but I got stuck on an express train that took me two stops further than normal. I tried not to be too annoyed and I literally ran home as much as I could. I was all bundled up and I was wearing my giant winter boots, but I probably jogged a good 1/2 mile to 3/4 mile home. I REALLY had to pee and I just wanted to get home so badly, it was worth looking like an idiot.

Goodnight!

Stolen Video

You have to say the title of my post in the same tone as Tim Curry when he says ‘stolen credit card’ to Kevin McCallister in Home Alone 2.

Anyway, I stole this video from Katie, who had it on her blog, but I just absolutely had to share it because it’s hilarious.

Oh, and how can you loathe cats, Katie? I think it’s because you have not met my cats. My cats are super lazy and awesome.
