Okay, so in case you don’t follow me on any other social media platform, I had my first run back today since the stupid stress fracture!

I am the queen of sleeping in as late as possible and I would sleep till 10 every single day if I could, but I woke up at 6:30 this morning to run 1 mile with one of my favorite people!

Shameless selfie while waiting for Beth.

Rocking my new Flyte tank from Oiselle!

She fell and scraped her knee 20 seconds before she reached me! No wonder people don’t like coming to Queens, ;).

She ran from Manhattan, via the Queensboro bridge, just to run my measly 10 minutes with me!!!! She then had to go back over that devil of a bridge to finish up her run! What a great friend, huh?!

Anyway, I ran!!! And it felt absolutely amazing! I I only wished I could run longer. I keep having dreams where I accidentally run way too much because I forget that I need to take it easy.

Beth just got accepted to the Oiselle Team, so go on over and congratulate her!

I then walked the mile back to my apartment with a huge smile on my face!

And now, here I am doing laundry early as f*ck on a Saturday morning. This will probably be the most productive Saturday morning I will ever have in my life!

Heading off on vacation in just a few hours, life is good!

  5. Oooh, I love that tank! Looks like a cotton blend, though, which is no bueno for Texas summer runs. 🙁 Yay for your first run back!
